Schuler tavern and Schuler guesthouse are just a few minutes walk from each other, across a bridge on the lake. They are meticulously run by family Hoffmann. The tavern has a characteristic atmosphere of comfort and human closeness, as well as a generous culinary offer.
In the evening take the time off for your family and a glass of wine in our cosy wine cellar. You can sip local wine from Austrian vineyards, or you’d rather taste wines from internationally renowned cellars from abroad, the choice is yours.
Traditional cuisine in the restaurant
The cuisine is traditional. Scrumptious main and side dishes are made following Grandma’s original recipes. You are guaranteed a top culinary experience. Frozen specialties and other delicious Austrian desserts are served on our spacious sunny terrace.
The bridge not only connects the Haus Schuler bed and breakfast and the tavern Schulers Weinstube, but also signifies the tie between the guests and the hosts which we carefully cultivate. In Haus Schuler you will be superbly looked after in a pleasant atmosphere.
What you can do
On the beach nearby you can go crazy with any favourite pastime: fishing, sunbathing, rowing or just simply lounging on the grass. It will be our pleasure to welcome you as guests in Haus Schuler any time of year. So please find out here about our holiday apartments and also about our tavern.
The Weißensee motto is “You can do anything, but you also don’t have to”. You can come to our “Fjord of the south” to bathe or to stay, and the surrounding hills and mountains are a playground to actively enjoy the scenery in a healthy environment.
Our holiday apartments
Begin your day with a smile and a long breakfast in our cosy den. The abundant breakfast buffet is full of homemade and farm produce. Then come to the sunny side of the lake, make yourself at home and start enjoying your holiday from the first moment onwards. In our guesthouse and the adjoining farm the modern everyday frenzy is unknown.
Six rooms, fitted with light oak furniture, will make you feel homely. Shower/toilet, satellite TV and in most rooms a sitting nook will provide a holiday comfort you’ll get easily used to.
